Guan

Dj Guan alias All Star Fresh or King Bee started his professional career in 1979 as a Italo/Funk dj in Italy.
In the beginning of the 80`s he played at all significant clubs in Amsterdam as: Bios, Schakel, Bebob (nowadays the iT) and later on also Escape and Marcanti.

In 1988 he was The Dutch Mixing-Champion representing Holland at the DMC World championships.
With the 3rd place he got an invitation to the World Supremacy-battle in New York. Guan was the first non-American dj to make it to the finals (2nd place). As All Star Fresh he was occasionally dj-ing for groups and artists like Stetsasonic, Ice-T, Ultra Magnetic MC`s an Public Enemy.
Being now one of the best technical dj of the World Guan needed a new challenge. In 1989 Guan started a project where you can tell he`s an Allstar, now also being a producer, dj and rapper he started KING BEE. 
With the track ‘Back By Dope Demand` (now an evergreen Hip Hop classic) he was the opening act for Madonna (50.000 people). 
In 1991 he received with the group the first Edison Award given to a ‘dance act`.
